Porcelain Enamel Gridded Drywipe Board 3000 by 1200 mm
Porcelain Enamel Gridded Drywipe Board 3000 by 1200 mm: a drywipe board in porcelain enamel printed with a feint grid for planning.
Drywipe boards in melamine painted steel and porcelain enamel, with the surface named properly and the guarantee stated. The surface decides whether the board is still white in three years, and it is the only specification that really matters.

Before you buy
Surfaces are not interchangeable. Melamine is the cheap one and it ghosts: within a year of daily use the last thing you wrote is still faintly there. Painted steel is magnetic and holds up for a few years. Porcelain enamel is fired glass on steel, is guaranteed for the life of the board and is what a school or a daily use meeting room should buy. Glass will never stain but needs stronger magnets and shows every fingerprint. We state which one you are looking at in those words. Magnetic means the surface has steel behind it. Glass boards are magnetic only with neodymium magnets because the glass sits between the magnet and the steel, and ordinary office magnets will slide straight off. Each board says which magnets it takes and we include a starter set. Use drywipe markers only. A permanent marker on a drywipe board is recoverable: scribble over it with a drywipe marker and wipe both off while wet. Leaving normal drywipe ink on the board for weeks is what causes ghosting on the cheaper surfaces, and a weekly clean with the proper fluid rather than a wet cloth is what keeps a board white. Check the wall before you order. Masonry takes the plugs in the box; a stud wall needs the board fixed into the studs or on heavy duty plasterboard anchors, and a 2400 mm board on the wrong fixings will pull out of the wall with the weight of somebody leaning on it. Mount a board with the bottom edge about 900 mm off the floor for a standing writer in an office and lower in a school for children. The commonest mistake is hanging a board too high so the bottom third is never used.
Which option to buy
Wall Mounted is wall mounted with the fixings for masonry and the plasterboard anchors for stud walls. Mobile Stand is on a mobile stand with locking castors so the board moves between rooms. Double Sided Mobile is double sided on a pivoting mobile stand so it turns rather than being rubbed out. We sell boards that get written on every day rather than ones that photograph well. Every listing states the surface the size and the fixings, and where a cheaper surface will ghost within a year we say so instead of letting you find out.
