Before you buy

Check the wall before you order. Masonry takes the plugs in the box; a stud wall needs the board fixed into the studs or on heavy duty plasterboard anchors, and a 2400 mm board on the wrong fixings will pull out of the wall with the weight of somebody leaning on it. Mount a board with the bottom edge about 900 mm off the floor for a standing writer in an office and lower in a school for children. The commonest mistake is hanging a board too high so the bottom third is never used.
