Before you buy

Check the wall before you order. Masonry takes the plugs in the box; a stud wall needs the board fixed into the studs or on heavy duty plasterboard anchors, and a 2400 mm board on the wrong fixings will pull out of the wall with the weight of somebody leaning on it. Mount a board with the bottom edge about 900 mm off the floor for a standing writer in an office and lower in a school for children. The commonest mistake is hanging a board too high so the bottom third is never used.

Which option to buy

Wall Mounted is wall mounted with the fixings for masonry and the plasterboard anchors for stud walls. Mobile Stand is on a mobile stand with locking castors so the board moves between rooms. Double Sided Mobile is double sided on a pivoting mobile stand so it turns rather than being rubbed out. We sell boards that get written on every day rather than ones that photograph well. Every listing states the surface the size and the fixings, and where a cheaper surface will ghost within a year we say so instead of letting you find out.
